All of our sterling silver jewellery is rhodium plated. When sterling silver jewellery is rhodium plated it prevents tarnishing, gives the jewellery a high shine finish and makes it more resistant to scratching.

Our gold plated jewellery is made in sterling silver then plated in gold. Gold plating will wear off with use so if intended for daily wear will require re-plating eventually.

Pounamu grows more beautiful with time, taking on a lustre from the natural oils of your skin. If needed, gently clean with a mild detergent and dry well. Avoid chemical cleaners, as these can damage the stone. Take care to prevent knocks or drops, which may cause chipping or cracks. If your pounamu piece is set in precious metal, extra caution around water is recommended. Taking your piece off before washing your hands, showering or swimming will help ensure your stone stays set securely.

EASY EXCHANGES + FREE RETURNS

We want to make choosing a meaningful gift for yourself or a loved one as easy as possible. That’s why if your gift isn’t quite right, or you need to return an item to us, we’ll cover the cost of return shipping within New Zealand.

RETURNS

We understand that it may be necessary to return an item to us. Please contact us within 10 working days of receipt of your order providing the reason for returning the item.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Damaged, soiled, or altered items will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer.

All taxes, duties and customs charges incurred on deliveries outside New Zealand will be your responsibility.

Gift cards and customised items are exempt from being returned and we can not offer returns for purchases made using Afterpay. Only an exchange for another item or store credit will be offered for Afterpay purchases.

EXCHANGES


If you wish to exchange an item for another size or style please contact us within 10 working days on hello@bohrunga.com with the size or style you require.

All items must be returned in original condition with all packaging intact, be unworn, unused, and unaltered. Damaged, soiled, or altered items will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer.

All exchanges are based on stock availability, and any difference in price will be payable (or refundable) before the item is dispatched.

REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 working days.

Taxes, duties and other customs charged are non-refundable.

SALE ITEMS

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

GIFTS

If you have received an item as a gift, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return or an exchange can be made. We do not refund gift purchases and proof of purchase will be required.
