bohboh radio episode 4: Jackson Owens

To celebrate the end of New Zealand Music Month, joining bohboh radio is Tūrangi born R&B/ soul artist Jackson Owens (Ngāti Tūwharetoa, Ngāti Awa, Te Arawa, Ngāi Tahu).

His young self was influenced by some of the greats; the likes of Otis Redding, Sam Cooke and Stevie Wonder to name a few. Modern influences though, are from artists like John Legend, H.E.R and Lucky Daye. 

He breaks up a busy schedule on his press junket and drops in to talk about his debut EP ‘For The Better’, being a boy roadie and the best day of his life.
