"I was looking for something beautiful to remind me of home and came across the Pounamu Pīwakawaka earrings and knew they were perfect. Pounamu is so significant in New Zealand culture and heritage. Thinking of fantails reminds me of walks through New Zealand native bush and seeing these inquisitive birds flitting close by watching you. Also I grew up listening to Boh Runga’s music. There were so many things that would make these earrings symbolically special for me."
