Helping Paws Cat & Kitten Adoption Day - Saturday 26th June 2021

Helping Paws Charitable Trust is a non profit organisation which provides shelter, food and care for stray, lost or abandoned animals until they are able to be re-homed. Located in Mangawhai, 1.5 hours north of Auckland, local volunteers work together caring for the animals for as long as it takes for them to find their forever home.

Helping Paws mainly home cats, but they also care for ducklings, horses, goats, alpacas and sheep. Recently The Mazda Foundation, which Boh is an ambassador for, generously donated $4000 in food supplies to help feed the many animals in the sanctuary's care. With funding like this, it means no animal is turned away.

With hundreds of felines in their care at any one time, Helping Paws is holding a cat & kitten adoption day in Dairy Flat this Saturday 26 June from 2pm - 4pm. If you are willing to adopt, please bring a cat cage with you.

All cats and kittens are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and ready to take home on the day.

Costs are as follows:
* Adults $100
* Teenagers $150
* Kittens $250 - $300. Kitten adoption fees are higher as they include a $100 contribution towards the cost of raising them.

Location: at 77 Turley Rd, Dairy Flat, Auckland

Donations of items such as clean blankets and towels are greatly appreciated at Helping Paws. If you have any items you wish to donate, please drop these off at our Bohtique (95b Ponsonby Road, Ponsonby, Auckland) before the 9th of July for us to pass on to Helping Paws to keep the cats and kittens warm throughout winter.
